Disclaimer for Global Medical Conexions:
If you are using the services of Global Medical Conexions, please understand the following points:
- The providers associated with Global Medical Conexions are not part of the regular PEHP provider network.
- The PEHPplus program promotes only some of Global Medical Conexions services. PEHPplus only includes some services that are not covered under your benefits plan, for example cosmetic surgery. Global Medical Conexions also offers services, which, if delivered by a PEHP network provider, would normally be covered. (For example, hip replacement surgery)
- No service offered through Global Medical Conexions will be covered by PEHP if that service would be covered if delivered by a PEHP network provider.
- Complications from non-covered services, including, but not limited to complications from cosmetic surgery, are not covered by PEHP.
- The exams and tests that you receive as a part of a medical assessment for non-covered services provided by Global Medical Conexions may reveal other medical problems that would normally be covered if care was delivered by a PEHP network provider. To receive benefits for services that would normally be covered, you must use a PEHP network provider.
